Conducting:

 April 24, 2022- Douglas Anderson will conduct the Putnam Chorale in a program of famous opera choruses at the First United Methodist Church at 82 Main Street, Brewster NY, at 3:00 pm.

June 21, 2022- Douglas Anderson will again conduct the Mozart Requiem, as part of the annual Make Music New York Festival.  Venue and time to be announced.

September 30 and October 1, 2022, 8:00 PM: Douglas Anderson will conduct the American Chamber Opera Company in the world premiere of Simonetta, a new opera by Larry Lipkis, to a libretto by Rob Block.  At Speyer Hall at the University Settlement House, 184 Eldridge Street in Manhattan.

Compositions:

April 6, 2022- Eight Strings & a Whistle will perform Douglas Anderson’s Reverse Variations on ‘Arkansas Traveler’  on the St. Boniface Recital Series.  7:30 pm livestream from St. Boniface Church, located at 107 Willoughby Street in downtown Brooklyn.  

 April 24, 2022- The Putnam Chorale will perform Douglas Anderson’s arrangement of Do You Hear the People Sing (from Les Miserables) in a program of famous opera choruses at the First United Methodist Church at 82 Main Street, Brewster NY, at 3:00 pm.

September 30 and October 1, 2022, 8:00 PM: Douglas Anderson’s chamber opera Through/In (libretto by Andrew Joffe) will have its world premiere on a double bill of new chamber operas presented by the American Chamber Opera Company (see above).  At Speyer Hall at the University Settlement House, 184 Eldridge Street in Manhattan.
